Cornerstone Academy is built and classes are in session. The school serves children in Kindergarten to 4th grade, giving hope through education by God’s love. The teachers at Cornerstone empower students God-designed potential by teaching groups and individuals in loving, creative and interactive ways.
transition housing and sustainability at Siamaluba farm
Funded through Lulangilo, Children’s Nest e-v Germany and with a donation of land from a local Chief, the structures on this land are being renovated to provide housing for older children as they age out of Children’s Nest. The farm will also be an income generating project for Children’s Nest and will serve as a training center for agriculture, both for children and the community. Children’s Nest will grow different crops throughout the year, including cabbage, corn, tomato and eggplant.
Children’s Nest staff members reside at the farm to take care of the crops and oversee older children who will reside there.
